Rainbow Wins International Avaya Award

RAINBOW WINS BIG WITH INTERNATIONAL AWARD

Rainbow Communications, the largest independent provider of telecoms services in Northern Ireland, has been named Avaya’s “Irish Mid-Market Partner of the Year”, one of only eight companies to receive an award during Westcon-Comstor’s prestigious Partners of the Year industry event, held recently in Dublin.

The award recognises Rainbow’s customer-centric approach, a continued commitment to training and its close working relationships with Avaya and Westcon.

Westcon are the leading global distributor of unified communications, network infrastructure and data centre solutions, with Avaya being the global leader in delivering superior communications with the most complete portfolio of software and services for on-premises comms systems.

Jennie Greene, Account Director in Ireland for Westcon, said:

“Heartfelt congratulations to Rainbow Communications for winning this award as, year on year, they continue to grow the SME/Mid-Market business in Northern Ireland. The promotion and successful introduction of Avaya IP Office, and their dedication to this product within the ICT business, has resulted in fantastic results for the team, and the company as a whole.

“The future for Avaya continues to look strong and these awards pay tribute to the loyalty and contributing growth we’ve seen from our top partners.”

Stuart Carson, Sales and Marketing Director at Rainbow, said:

“We are honoured and humbled by this award and we thank both Westcon and Avaya for their recognition. We are proud to champion Avaya to our clients across Ireland as the suite of products on offer enable them to increase call capacity as well as adding heightened functionality to their systems.

“Businesses across Ireland and the UK are starting to make the transition to the IP network following the upheaval of the PBX system during and immediately after the recession. If a business is not ready to go completely virtual, adding a SIP trunk & Avaya IP Office enables them to benefit from advanced telephony and prepare for the end of ISDN.”
