Six jobs have been created at Rainbow Communications headquarters in Belfast with the establishment of a new I.T. services division following an investment of £100,000 in the company.
It’s the latest expansion for Northern Ireland’s largest independent business telecoms company who now employ 85 people both in Belfast and Glasgow where the company established a presence last year.
The new department will offer business customers complete I.T. solutions, including maintenance and support services, network and internet security and remote access solutions for teleworkers.
Rainbow Communications has seen remarkable growth in recent years providing Calls and Lines, Mobiles, Broadband, Cloud telephony, Systems, and Data services to more than 5,500 public and private sector clients.
Martin Hamill, Director of Rainbow Communications, said:
“For over 15 years, Rainbow has been delivering exceptional value and a local customer service that is second to none. Our new I.T. division is another crucial piece of the jigsaw in our one-stop-shop offering to businesses.
“In today’s environment, businesses want an experienced local supplier they can trust.
“That’s why we’ve seen a significant upturn in business as companies migrate from faceless multi-nationals or fly-by night start ups who don’t deliver on their commitments.
“We are delighted to be launching our new I.T. division and creating six jobs for a very experienced and talented team.”
Richard Charles, who will head up the new I.T. division at Rainbow Communications, has a wealth of experience in the sector. He said:
“Efficient and effective I.T. solutions are critical to the success of any business.
“Having a team that can respond quickly to find resolutions to your I.T. issues is important but so too is the proficient ongoing management of your I.T. networks to minimise disruption.
“We pride ourselves in creating customised solutions to match exactly what our customers require, making companies more profitable.
“Northern Ireland business customers can have the peace of mind of knowing that infrastructure will be maintained and supported to ensure vital productivity is not restricted.”
Rainbow Communications currently supply and manage the telecoms and communications requirements for over 40% of Northern Ireland’s Top 200.
